Data Handling
Privacy First: Flare does not store, log, or persist any message content. Messages are only processed when you explicitly mention @Flare or use the /ask command.
What Happens to Your Message
- Your message is sent to Google’s Gemini API for processing.
- The AI generates a response.
- Both your message and the response are held in volatile RAM for context (up to 5 minutes).
- After 5 minutes of inactivity, the context is permanently deleted from memory.
What Flare Does NOT Do
- ❌ Store message content in any database
- ❌ Use your messages for training
- ❌ Share your data with third parties (beyond the AI provider for processing)
- ❌ Read messages in channels where it isn’t mentioned
