Overview

VoiceMaster eliminates voice channel clutter. Instead of having dozens of empty voice channels sitting in your server, VoiceMaster uses a “Join to Create” system. When a user joins the Hub channel, Flare instantly creates a brand-new, temporary voice channel just for them, moves them into it, and gives them full control over it. When the channel becomes empty, Flare automatically deletes it.

Why use VoiceMaster?

  • Cleaner Server: No more scrolling past 30 empty voice channels.
  • User Autonomy: Members can lock, hide, or rename their own channels without needing moderator assistance.
  • Performance: Flare handles channel creation and deletion in milliseconds.

Requirements

Flare must have the Manage Channels, Manage Roles, and Move Members permissions in the category where VoiceMaster is created.

Configuration

Setting up VoiceMaster takes less than 10 seconds.
  1. Navigate to Modules > VoiceMaster.
  2. Click the Setup VoiceMaster button.
  3. Flare will automatically create a new Category, a Hub voice channel, and a Control Panel text channel.
  4. (Optional) Customize the default name for new channels (e.g., {user}'s Lounge).

The Control Panel

When Flare sets up VoiceMaster, it creates a text channel containing the Control Panel. This is an interactive message with buttons that channel owners use to manage their temporary voice channel.

Best Practices

Pin the Control Panel

Ensure the Control Panel message is pinned in its text channel so users can always find it.

Set Default Limits

If your server hosts games like Valorant or League of Legends, change the default channel limit to 5.

Troubleshooting

Ensure Flare has the Manage Channels permission. Also, check that the Category limit (50 channels max) hasn’t been reached.
Flare achieves locking by denying the Connect permission for @everyone. Ensure that no other roles in your server have Administrator or Connect explicitly granted in the channel overrides, as they will bypass the lock.
This usually means Flare doesn’t have the Send Messages or Embed Links permissions in the text channel where the panel is located.
