Embeds

Overview

Flare’s Embed Builder is an interactive modal-based editor that lets you design rich Discord embeds with titles, descriptions, colors, images, fields, author headers, and footers. Embeds are saved to the database and can be reused across welcome messages, leave messages, and manual sends.

Commands

/embed create welcome       # Open the interactive editor to create a new embed
/embed edit welcome          # Edit an existing saved embed
/embed delete welcome        # Delete a saved embed
/embed list                  # List all saved embeds (max 25 per server)
/embed view welcome          # Preview a saved embed
/embed send welcome #general # Send a saved embed to a channel

The Interactive Editor

When you run /embed create <name>, Flare sends an interactive panel with buttons:

Button	What it Opens
Embed Data	Modal for Title, Description, and Color (hex)
Images	Modal for Thumbnail URL and Image URL
Author & Footer	Modal for Author name/icon/URL and Footer text/icon
Add Field	Modal to add a field (name, value, inline)
Remove Field	Modal to remove a field by index
Save	Saves the embed to the database
Cancel	Discards changes

An embed must have at least a title, description, or image to be saved. Completely empty embeds will be rejected.

Title length	256 characters
Description length	4,000 characters
Fields per embed	25
Field name length	256 characters
Field value length	1,024 characters
Footer length	2,048 characters

Using Embeds in Messages

Attach a saved embed to welcome, leave, or boost messages:

/welcome message Hey {user}! {embed: welcome_card}

Variables inside the embed (e.g., {user_avatar} in the Thumbnail field) will be resolved dynamically at send time.
