Overview

Now that Flare is in your server and has the correct permissions, it’s time to put it to work. Flare is modular, meaning you only enable what you actually need. Let’s configure your first module: Welcome Messages.

Step-by-Step Setup

1

Login to the Dashboard

Head over to the Flare Dashboard. You will be prompted to log in with your Discord account.
2

Select Your Server

Click on your server’s icon to open its configuration panel.
3

Navigate to Modules

On the left sidebar, click on Modules, then locate the Welcome module and toggle it to Enabled.
4

Configure the Message

  1. Select the channel where you want welcome messages to appear.
  2. Write your message. You can use dynamic variables like {user.mention} to tag the new member.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Testing Your Configuration

You don’t need to wait for someone to join to see if it works! Open your Discord server and run the test command:
Flare will send a simulated welcome message to your configured channel exactly as a new user would see it.

What’s Next?

Now that you know how the dashboard works, we highly recommend setting up your server’s security next.

Protect My Server

Configure AntiNuke and AutoMod to secure your community.
