Overview

Flare’s Giveaway module lets you host giveaways with automatic timer countdowns, participant tracking, and winner selection — all using modern Discord V2 Container components for a sleek, visual experience.

Creating a Giveaway

Parameters

  • Duration: Supports s (seconds), m (minutes), h (hours), d (days). Maximum: 30 days.
  • Winners: Number of winners (1–10).
  • Prize: The prize name (max 256 characters).

What Happens

  1. Flare creates a beautifully styled Container message in the current channel.
  2. A 🎉 button appears for users to enter the giveaway.
  3. When the timer expires, Flare automatically selects random winners and announces them.

Ending & Rerolling

If you need to end a giveaway before the timer runs out:

Troubleshooting

Flare may have lost permissions in the channel since the giveaway was created. Ensure Flare has Send Messages and View Channel permissions.
This happens when zero participants entered the giveaway. Flare will announce “Not enough participants” instead of a winner.
